For 50 years, Girls Inc. of San Diego County (GISD) has been guiding girls to overcome gender, economic and social barriers to succeed. Girls Inc. of San Diego provides no-cost, research-based programming to girls ages 8 to 18 in San Diego County. The organization’s mission is to help girls

1) see college as attainable

2) explore professional fields in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

3) build the life skills to meet those goals.
